This is Rayonism, Blue-Green Forest, by Natalia Goncharova, nineteen thirteen. Goncharova and Mikhail Larionov developed Rayonism, which took the rays reflected off objects, rather than the objects themselves, as the true subject of painting. The forest here is a field of intersecting light.
