Endless Column

Before you is Endless Column — a sculpture by Brancusi, nineteen eighteen. It's oak, about 2 by 0.3 meters. It is an odd shape for a picture: about 2.0 metres one way and 0.3 the other, so it reads as a band rather than a window.
