This is Box in a Valise — a leather case holding miniature replicas and reproductions of Duchamp's own work, sixty-odd items packed into a travelling salesman's kit. He assembled the first ones as he was leaving occupied France. It is a portable retrospective, and an artist writing his own catalogue.
