Water Lilies

You're looking at Water Lilies, in three panels, painted at Giverny between nineteen fourteen and nineteen twenty-six. Monet had dug the pond himself. He went on painting it while cataracts slowly clouded his sight, which is part of why the late canvases loosen the way they do.
