Here we have Untitled — a painting by Lygia Pape, nineteen fifty-six. Pape was part of the concrete art movement. Acrylic, a pigment suspended in plastic emulsion that dries in minutes and stays flexible afterwards. It is among the palest things in this museum — measured, almost the whole surface reads as light.
