Here we have übermalung (over painting) — a drawing by Vaništa, nineteen fifty-nine to nineteen sixty-five. A gelatin silver print — the standard black-and-white photograph of the twentieth century, paper coated in gelatin holding light-sensitive silver, developed by hand in a tray. You can pick out the window, and the group of people.
