This is the Flyhead Helmet, made by the Viennese group Haus-Rucker-Co in nineteen sixty-eight — plastic, metal and electronics you put over your head to have your vision and hearing deliberately distorted. They designed a series of these: architecture shrunk to the size of one person's perception.
