Before you is Glove (for Parkett no. 4) — a work by the Swiss artist Meret Oppenheim, nineteen eighty-five. Oppenheim was part of the surrealism movement. A screenprint, the ink pushed through a stencilled mesh — flat unmodulated colour, and one screen for every colour in it. It is among the smallest things here — you could close a hand around it.
