You're looking at the EyeWriter. Tony Quan was a graffiti writer in Los Angeles who lost the use of his body to A.L.S. In two thousand nine a group of programmers and artists built him this — a pair of cheap sunglasses, a taken-apart PlayStation camera, some infrared lights and a few zip ties — so that he could draw again using only his eyes. Then they published the plans for anyone to build another.
